EWMD International - Mentoring Program

Mentoring

Mentoring has been proven to have a significant impact on peoples‘ careers. Personal growth and learning is a key skill in today‘s business world and the exchange of knowledge is crucial to achieve that goal. Mentoring accelerates self-development, career progression, and overall self-confidence. The EWMD collects a lot of experienced and senior women who are willingly sharing their knowledge over webinars and the personal exchange already. Bringing these two subjects – the personal learning journey and the existing knowledge in our network – together in a systematic approach seems like the next logical step.

Born from these considerations we are proud to present to you the EWMD Mentoring Program! In September 2024 we offer the frame for a 12 months intensive mentoring program where 1:1 Mentorings are combined with collaborative workshops.

Mentees

You have just started out as a young leader or you are focussing on the start of a brilliant career and you are looking for exchange with more experienced leaders? Learn the unwritten rules from experienced leaders who play the game already and make use of the vast toolbox of experience they have gained.
Our mentoring program builds on the principle of co-mentoring: "Give and Take" The participants in general and the tandem partners specially are encouraged to exchange their knowledge interdisciplinary.

  • The Mentor offers her exchange, experience and knowledge stemming from her seniority. She participates in this program from her intrinsic wish to share and pass on their experience.
  • In exchange the Mentee gives their own knowledge or expertise in a field the mentor might benefit from (e.g. Graphic Design, Impulse in certain field of study, etc.). This is already the first step on the mentoring curve - everybody has something to share and give that is of value!

Mentors

You are an experienced leader and you want to share some of that with the leaders of tomorrow? You know how to play the game of management as a woman in leadership?
We invite every EWMD member that identifies as female to become a mentor. Our mentoring program builds on the principe of co-mentoring: "Give and Take" The participants in general and the tandem partners specially are encouraged to exchange their knowledge interdisciplinary.

Costs of Participation

  • For Mentees:

From our experience and the experience of the mentors we know that a high level of engagement and reliability is the backbone of a successful mentoring process. This asks for organizational structures that support this engagement and reliability. This is why we ask for an investment from your side. We know that especially for entry-level positions budgets are not extremely high. This is why we try to keep the investment as low as possible.

  • EWMD members: 350 Euro
  • Guests: 450 Euro

  • For Mentors:

Because we know about and value the effort mentors put into the programs we do not ask for a participation fee from mentors.

Younger people, especially younger women in entry-level positions are disproportionally affected to earn less than their male counterparts or more senior partners. This is why we offer you the opportunity to sponsor a mentee position. If you have somebody in your network for whom you want to create the possibility to participate in the mentoring program, please contact us for details.

Registration has been closed as our group is full. If you are interested to be on the waitlist for the next edition,
