"Women and Power: How To Avoid The Glass Cliff"

Adriana Albini is Scientific Director MultiMedica Onlus, MultiMedica Technological Scientific Pole of Milan. Lecturer in General Pathology, Department of Medicine and Surgery, Milan Bicocca University, Monza. She works in the oncological research field, deals with cardiovascular toxicity of antineoplastic drugs and pharmacological and food derivatives prevention. In 2018 she was elected in the Board of Directors of AACR (American Association for Cancer Research) and in 2020 was listed by BBC as one of the 100 most influential women in the world.

Martina Avanza is Associate Professor in Political Sociology at the University of Lausanne, in Switzerland and a member of the Center for Gender Studies of the University. Her research interests center on ethnographic methods, Italian politics, political activism, right-wing studies, gender and politics. She has published numerous articles in international journals and was the recipient in 2019 of the best Article Award of the Council for European Studies’ Gender and Sexuality Research Network.

Nadia Busato is a journalist & professional author and she holds a degree in Modern Letters and an European Master’s degree in Management. Nadia has a 15 years experience in Consulting for both private and public administrations. She managed projects for cities, public authorities and international organizations.

Barbara Dalle Pezze, Ph.D., is a leadership coach, international speaker, author and seminar leader. She inspires individuals, entrepreneurs, and leaders to reconnect with their most profound and authentic essence, discover their purpose, and bring about positive change in their lives and in the world. She is a member of the Leadership Development Faculty for the Asia Pacific Region and visiting professor at SFU, Beedie School of Business (Vancouver, Canada). 

Davide Dotti is a historian and art critic. Curator of Palazzo Martinengo, exhibit curator, antique paintings consultant. Davide Dotti is specialized in Renaissance and Baroque Italian painting. He has published several books, specialized articles and has curated more than 30 Italian and overseas exhibits. He is a consultant to important private Italian and foreign collectors.

Delia Goletti is a professor of General Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine of Unicamillus University of Rome. She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery and has a PhD in Infectology plus a postgraduate degree in Infectious Diseases at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Rome. She is scientifically formed in the United States at the Laboratory of Immune Regulation of the National Institute for Infectious Diseases and the National Institute of Health in Bethesda.

Michèle Lavagna is the principal Investigator and Project Manager of more than 50 research projects and National Expert for Space in Cluster 4 in the Horizon Europe Framework Program of the European Commission. She has been nominated by the Italian Government as Expert and Advisor for the inter-Ministerial Committee for Space and Aerospace Policy (COMINT). She’s member of the HESAC-European Space Agency Advisory Committee for Space Exploration European Programs.

Ferose Oaten is the majority shareholder and Managing Director of AVTS Roadworthy Stations, and Joint CEO of TUV SUD South Africa. Ferose serves on the Board of the Retail Motor Industry (RMI), and as Chairperson of the Motor Industries Pension Fund Administrators (MIFA). She is also the President for Africa regional grouping of CITA (Committee Internationale Controle Technique) – International Vehicle Inspection Committee based in Brussels. She holds a Masters in Executive Management from the University of Cape Town. 

Flaminio Squazzoni is Full Professor of Behavioral Sociology at University of Milan. He manages the research and training center BehaveLab and is an expert in behavior and social interactions. 

Author of more than one hundred scientific publications, most of them in international journals, has recently coordinated a project funded by the European Community dealing with gender problems in the scientific community.
