Iris Reisen

I have first learnt about EWMD in Hong Kong 2003 from an EWMD Asia Member. I joined EWMD Switzerland in 2016.

The motivation to join EWMD was to meet professional ladies from various backgrounds to exchange and learn about their experiences. I am honored to support EWMD as NR Switzerland as of January 2025.

Most of my career was spent in all operational aspects of aviation. First with an airline, then over 29 years in business VIP aviation. The technical, operational and very international aspects of aviation have always fascinated me. Being responsible for the safe flight operation and all its personnel have been enriching. Apart from the technical aspects in this field I love people and various cultures. 

I spent 20 years working in Singapore and Hong Kong establishing and running various VIP flight operations from scratch, building bridges between different cultures and finding a common goal in very diverse teams have always been my strengths.

I hold a M.A. in organizational psychology and expertise in all aspects of aviation such as flight/ground operations, project management, sales and customer relation, leadership and intercultural aspects. A one-and-a-half-year break studying Mandarin language in Beijing added more depth to my Asia experience. 

Overall, Asia has been and is my second home, travelling, trekking and exploring other cultures is my passion. 

From January 2025 I am the National Representative of EWMD Switzerland.
